ALL EYES ON EID DECISION AT THE CABINET MEETING

The presidenti­al cabinet this week will discuss the economy, the fight against terrorism, the Claw-Lock operation, the terrorist attacks in Bursa and Istanbul, and the Russia-Ukraine War. The cabinet will also discuss whether to extend the Eid holiday to nine days with the addition of May 5th and 6th.

TUESDAY

The Competitio­n Board will announce the report on the second investigat­ion into whether five chain supermarke­ts and 17 suppliers violated competitio­n laws.

WEDNESDAY SCIENTIFIC BOARD CONVENES

A Coronaviru­s Scientific Committee meeting will be held on April 27 after nearly two months. A mask requiremen­t, which has been removed in open areas, is expected to be lifted in closed areas as well, except for on public transporta­tion.

THURSDAY

The 10th Chamber of the Council of State will discuss and decide on the merits of lawsuits filed against the annulment of the Istanbul Convention on April 28.
