ALL EYES ON EID DECISION AT THE CABINET MEETING
The presidential cabinet this week will discuss the economy, the fight against terrorism, the Claw-Lock operation, the terrorist attacks in Bursa and Istanbul, and the Russia-Ukraine War. The cabinet will also discuss whether to extend the Eid holiday to nine days with the addition of May 5th and 6th.
TUESDAY
The Competition Board will announce the report on the second investigation into whether five chain supermarkets and 17 suppliers violated competition laws.
WEDNESDAY SCIENTIFIC BOARD CONVENES
A Coronavirus Scientific Committee meeting will be held on April 27 after nearly two months. A mask requirement, which has been removed in open areas, is expected to be lifted in closed areas as well, except for on public transportation.
THURSDAY
The 10th Chamber of the Council of State will discuss and decide on the merits of lawsuits filed against the annulment of the Istanbul Convention on April 28.
