The UK-based petroleum company BP’s Turkey operation will raise its non-fuel revenues. The company, which operates 772 gasoline stations in Turkey as of February, has started to transform its gasoline stations to increase its non-fuel revenues. “We are prioritizing non-fuel revenues. We aim to expand our BP Express and Wild Bean Coffee (WBC) concepts across the country,” said Ersin Akmanoglu, Retail Fuels Operations Director for BP Turkey. The firm, which increased its BP Express and WBC concepts to 83 points in 21 cities last year with dealers, plans to increase this figure to over 125 points in 30 provinces this year. “We plan to reach 400 gasoline stations within four years. We launched 37 new WBC markets in 2021.19 of them have been managed directly by BP,” Akmanoglu added. BP Turkey opened 40 new gasoline stations in the country last year. “We aim to increase the quality and experience of shopping we offer to customers at our existing gasoline stations. Apart from the growth of stations, we are acting in line with a focused growth strategy,” Akmanoglu added. ERKAN CAKAN
