SSM AWAITS RESEARCHERS

DigitalSSM, the digital archive platform brought to life to preserve cultural heritage by the Sabancı University on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM), started to serve in the physical domain.

In this venue which provides access to the permanent Arts of the Book and Calligraphy Painting Collection and to all the exhibitions and events held since the museum’s establishment, researchers will be able to conduct research on the museum’s archive consisting of exhibition catalogues, videos and visuals, audio guides, curated tours, and the recordings of conferences and artist talks.

Along with the artwork in the museum’s collection, and access to the Dino and Emirgan archives since 2013, SSM aims to inspire works in the areas of preservation, accessibility, and museology by sharing the content of the exhibitions held in 2019 with users.
