keep walking in h or the endeavours of an architectural educator
Aslıhan Şenel | Mapping doesn’t seem like a method we can repeat to obtain the same results, but it can provide many opportunities in practice and theory as part of a new understanding on architectural education. It can be a pursuit to discuss the new architectures that will result from looking for ways of collaborative work, learning by play, sharing information, generating knowledge with experience and also common belonging and problematizing social injustices rather than owning a place using these ways. Here I try to present the process and the position of the maker in several examples and the critical potentials of mapping in order to bring its location in architectural education up for discussion, using a semi-fictional style of writing. This plot allows me to represent and make new connections between mapping and the construction process without immobilizing them.
