Concrete Symbol Structure In Taurus: Döner Gazino

Ayşe Şekerci, Şerife İncedemir, Sezen Başak Özünur | City center of Antalya was established between the natural borders of the Mediterranean Sea and the Taurus Mountains. The sea and the mountains form the basic elements of the urban image in mind, thus, the citizens constantly establish sensory relationships with these elements in daily life. Located on west part of the Taurus on the Tümektepe, “Döner Gazino” is also a part of the image and memory of the city. Döner Gazino has its importance from being structured in difficult natural conditions on the hill as a concrete structure that reflects the architectural features of its period and being a part of the skyline.
