KZI Bank's asset size exceeded 307 million dollars
“We plan to focus on SMEs and corporate companies”
Stating that Kazakhstan Ziraat International provides its services in the country with 150 personnel in 8 branches and general directorates, KZI General Manager Murat Alkan said that they have reached an asset size of 307.4 million dollars by the end of 2021. Informing that the equity size is 82.9 million dollars, Alkan noted that the deposit is 208.2 million dollars.
Emphasizing that they anticipate accelerating the growth in the sector with a new customeroriented business model, KZI General Manager Murat Alkan stated that in addition to Turkish-origin institutional investors, local companies engaged in mutual trade and investment activities with Türkiye also carry out all kinds of cash and non-cash financing and other banking transactions.
Murat Alkan said, ''Investmentbusiness loan demands of institutional Turkish investors operating in the manufacturing, trade, contracting and agriculture sectors in Kazakhstan are also evaluated.
Mentioning that they plan to focus on SMEs and corporate companies, Alkan said, “Besides, SME/ commercial/corporate companies operating in education, health, renewable energy and environmentally friendly sustainable loan sectors are also the target group of our bank. It is foreseen to work with agriculture, agro-industry and marketing companies that have foreign trade in the coming periods. In addition, it is aimed to increase the share of individual loans such as consumer and vehicle loans in the total loan portfolio.”
