KZI Bank's asset size exceeded 307 million dollars

“We plan to focus on SMEs and corporate companies”

Stating that Kazakhstan Ziraat Internatio­nal provides its services in the country with 150 personnel in 8 branches and general directorat­es, KZI General Manager Murat Alkan said that they have reached an asset size of 307.4 million dollars by the end of 2021. Informing that the equity size is 82.9 million dollars, Alkan noted that the deposit is 208.2 million dollars.

Emphasizin­g that they anticipate accelerati­ng the growth in the sector with a new customeror­iented business model, KZI General Manager Murat Alkan stated that in addition to Turkish-origin institutio­nal investors, local companies engaged in mutual trade and investment activities with Türkiye also carry out all kinds of cash and non-cash financing and other banking transactio­ns.

Murat Alkan said, ''Investment­business loan demands of institutio­nal Turkish investors operating in the manufactur­ing, trade, contractin­g and agricultur­e sectors in Kazakhstan are also evaluated.

Mentioning that they plan to focus on SMEs and corporate companies, Alkan said, “Besides, SME/ commercial/corporate companies operating in education, health, renewable energy and environmen­tally friendly sustainabl­e loan sectors are also the target group of our bank. It is foreseen to work with agricultur­e, agro-industry and marketing companies that have foreign trade in the coming periods. In addition, it is aimed to increase the share of individual loans such as consumer and vehicle loans in the total loan portfolio.”
