ZİNCİR KOPARAN IS UNSTOPPABLE

-

The Çanakkale Victory Stakes, the first G1 race of the season for three-year-old Arabian horses, took place on Sunday, July 30th, at Veliefendi Racecourse. Thirteen 3-year-olds participated in the race, which was held on turf and at 1600 meters. Interestingly, unlike in most Arabian horse races, the finishing order of the race matched the predictions of the commentators. The top three predicted horses also finished the race in the exact same order. Considering that most of the horses that won this race went on to achieve success in their subsequent races, it can be inferred that the horses finishing in the top 3 positions of this race also possess great potential.

Throughout the race, the horses that were in the top five positions remained within that range, and those that entered the final stretch in the top four maintained their positions, ultimately finishing the race in the same order. Starting from an inside draw, Zincir Koparan, ridden by Vedat Abiş, led from the beginning and managed to maintain its position until the finish line. Bozkırefesi (Özgünhan-Aytolun/Altaha), who was in the third position during the race, overtook Hüküm (Uçanbey-Rabia/Odinhan) to secure the second place while leaving Hüküm in third. Kaşmir Tay (Onurkaan-İzsüren/İzbatur), tracked the pace in 4th place and finished 4th.

In its sixth career race, Zincir Koparan achieved its fourth victory, having finished second in its other 2 races. The horse, in harmony with its regular jockey, secured its second Group 2 victory after this G2 win. Demonstrating its superiority over its rivals, the horse's next performance is eagerly anticipated.
