Economic confidence in Turkey on the rise
Confidence in Turkey’s economy increased in March, according to TurkStat on Thursday. The Economic Confidence Index rose by 5 percent to 96.9 points from 91.5 points in February. “The rise in the economic confidence index stemmed from the increase in construction, services, consumer and real sector confidence indices,” the index report said. Data showed that all sub-indices,
except retail trade, contributed positively to the improvement in the main index, with advances up to 12.3 percent.
