July 15: A thousand years of struggle in one night
YENI SAFAK JULY 15 IBRAHIM KARAGUL
A year ago, on July 15, the worst offensive in the political history of Turkey was made. …Their target was to dismember Turkey by starting a civil war. The powers that put forward the Gulenist terrorist organization (FETO), which transformed each Anatolian child under their effect into a traitor, mobilized the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and other terrorist organizations for their occupation attempt. Their target was to topple President Erdogan, malfunction the state and then shatter the nation and dismember Turkey. …That night there was a nation guarded with prayers around the whole of Turkey. That night, the greatest attack since World War I was repulsed. The last castle was defeated; the “Last Turkish War of Independence” was won. …So July 15 is the date the New Turkey, Turkey the Great, was established. It is the constitutional declaration of the country where there is no tutelage, which builds its own future and cannot bend again. For us, it is “The Last War of Independence.” It is the winning of the last front, the opening of the victory pages of the 21st century. The Last Castle has shown it is safe with all its power.
