EBRD names new managing director for Turkey

European Bank for Reconstruct on and Development (EBRD) has appointed Arvid Tuerkner as the new managing director for Turkey, the bank said in a statement on Nov. 1. Tuerkner, previously EBRD di rector for corporate debt and before that the head of the bank’s act v t es n Russ a, took up h s new job on Nov. 1. In Turkey, he succeeded Jean-Patr ck Marquet, who returns to London as the bank’s manag ng d rector for nfrastructure.
