Is a foreign policy directed by tweets reliable?

SABAH APRIL 13 MEHMET BARLAS

The White House was once home to Ronald Reagan, the actor in wild west movies. But he pretended to be a statesman. The current President, Donald Trump, was a businessman who had a casino business in Atlantic City as well as contracting businesses and experienced bankruptcies before coming to this position. People supposed that his outrageous words and promises during the election campaign would tone down after being elected President. But it did not happen. And now the domestic and foreign policies of the U.S. are broadcast by Trump’s tweets. For example, Foreign Minister Tillerson learned from Trump’s tweet that he had been removed from his post. The latest Trump tweets about Syria, which scared the whole world, are as follows:

- “Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’” - “Our relations with Russia are at the worst level, including the Cold War era. There is no reason for that . ... Stop the arming. “

- “Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all!” The leader of our alliance, the U.S., is not any more stable than a roulette table in Atlantic City.
