COMPANIES WORLDWIDE CHOOSE TURKISH MACHINERY
Turkish firms producing press, bottler, filling, packaging and sealing machinery are preferred around the world, especially by food factories.
While Turkish-made products offer more quality than Chinese ones, they are also more cost-efficient compared with European competitors.
The country’s companies export its machinery products to dozens of countries, from the U.S. to Gulf Countries, Europe and Asia.
Selcuk Kulakli, the project manager of
Kulp Makine, said its company has been producing machinery for 38 years, all with domestic sources.
“We export filling, labeling and sealing machinery to 53 countries currently, especially to Europe, South America and
Gulf countries,” he said.
Kulakli said his company’s machinery provides better quality and is cheaper than European countries’ products.
“Therefore, we have an advantage for exporting, we export 65 percent of our total production currently,” he underlined.
A leader in the press machinery sector Oktay Nacar, the general manager of On Mart Makine, said that his company is exporting filling, capping and press machines to 19 countries globally.
“Previously, foreign brands dominated the pastry sector, but now, we are in the leading position in this sector with our machinery,” he said, noting that economic troubles over the past year were manageable. “2018 and 2019 were quite efficient for us. We expect a better period in 2020.”
Ulas Kaygusuz, the manager of Karayeller Makine, said that his company exports oil press machinery to 70 countries around the world.
“We produce press machinery for several fruits and nuts such as hazelnut, pistachio or almond. Turkey has a leading position in this sector in the global arena,” he said.
Turkish products are of high quality, he added, and they are cheaper than their equivalents.
