Environment-friendly Products

Temper Technology AB, which will continue its commercial activities under the name of “KRAHN Specialty Fluids AB” from September 1, 2022, is known for its environmental-friendly high quality products.

Temper S

Temper S is a high quality antifreeze specially adapted, for fire protection and for areas subjected to frost with a freeze protection down to -55°C. The product enables immediate suppression of fire and is completely glycol free.

Temper S is readily biodegradable where 97 % of the fluid will be consumed after 7 days in comparison to glycol- based antifreeze fluids where the biodegradability is only 70-85 % after 28 days. Temper S can be used in both sprinkler and water mist systems (high and low pressure).

Temper

Temper is a top of the line environmentally friendly heat transfer fluid used in a wide range of refrigeration applications. The ready-mixed and nontoxic organic salt solution is readily biodegradable and combined with an effective corrosion inhibitor package. The thermal properties make Temper an excellent choice for a wide range of refrigeration applications, especially in industrial and food refrigeration industries. The product is available in seven different versions from -10°C down to -60°C.

Temper is chemically stable and will not degrade in time, has a high specific heat capacity and outstanding thermal conductivity, especially compared with propylene glycol. It is therefore classified as nonhazardous to health and the environment and does not contain any amines, nitrites or phosphates.
