BORA DEMİR, AN 18 YEAR OLD YOUNG TALENT OF ÇEV SANAT HE IS ADMITTED TO DEUTSCHES SYMPHONIE ORCHESTER BERLIN STAFF.
Bora Demir of ÇEV Sanat Young Talents is admitted to Deutsches Symhonie Orchester Berlin as a solo horn for his outstanding merit at the exam.
18 year old gifted horn artist Borda Demir has been studying within the scope of "Young Talents Project" conducted by ÇEV Sanat under the main sponsorship of QNB Finansbank. Having won the well-known Aeolus competition at Dusseldorf last year, he was recognized by the printed and mass media in Germany. Although he has no experience as a permanent staff orchestra, Demir was first given a concert invitation by Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin. Performing strikingly well at the concert, Bora Demir sat for the solo horn exam held by the orchestra, passed the exam with merit and he was admitted to Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin staff.
Having outcompeted the Cologne Radio Solo Horn, Berliner Philarmoniker 3rd Horn, Salzburg Mozarteum 1st Horn, and ext Solo Horn of Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, all were rival candidates, Bora Demir passed the exam with merit whereby all orchestra members went to polls in closed boxes in 3 rounds. He will be a permanent staff member of Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin starting from August.
