MUSIC AND ART SOCIETY ANNOUNCES THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
Growing to function in standards no less than that of a music academy in a short time, FAMİ Music & Art Society has a number of choirs conducted by highly esteemed artists of the country, and vocal and instrument training sessions. Celebrating its fifth anniversary in art this year, the Society starts off the year with a very special ceremony.
Starting with an opening speech given by İkrami Özturan, the President of FAMİ Music & Art Society, and the director of neta Art Fine Arts, the ceremony followed with short recitals, and the speeches of conductors of the choirs acting in the society.
The President İkrami Özturan expressed in his speech that their goal was to mirror art in life and it required not only being involved in art but also making it accessible and socially reachable for all, and making special efforts that encourage people into art. "neta ART Fine Arts, and FAMİ Music & Art Society have long adopted this approach and both are dedicated to move on in this direction. Our rate of success is the discretion of the course attendees, participants and the parents." Özturan said. The President Özturan ended his words by quoting from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: "Art is a staircase to civilization."

I am truly happy to be a part of neta ART Fine Arts, and FAMİ Music & Art Society. There is one thing that needs stressing: “Our family definitely grows bigger and bigger here if you tell how amazing we are doing at neta ART Fine Arts, and FAMİ Music & Art Society.”
It is an honor and source of pride for me being a member of FAMİ Music & Art Society. Actually we have previously worked with İkrami Özturan for our Istanbul choir. After Istanbul, I somehow ended up in Gaziantep. Working with İkrami Özturan is a privilege indeed because he respects and esteems art, artist and culture.

I have focused my energy on art and tried to do my best at hand since the day neta ART Fine Arts was established. Today, we see the results together. I do hope that it has been useful for us all. I am going to continue to do whatever I can for art within the bounds of possibility.
FAMİ Music & Art Society Children's Choir Conductor Bahar Özgüner;
We formed a choir of forty. We are going to have amazing courses with children throughout the year. We will proceed on a track that starts with a children's choir and extends all the way to adults' choirs.
FAMİ Music & Art Society Istanbul Turkish Classical Music Choir Conductor Yıldırım Bekçi;
I am happy to be here. I have been working here for two years now and the third year will be starting soon. I am grateful and proud of it. We have given eighteen concerts in two years. That is a big number that quite a number of choirs and music societies would dream of achieving. Three of these concerts were in Algeria and nearly half of them were in different cities. Do you know what the key to all these successful concerts is? A mind at peace, which is promised in here... An artist is a tender and sensitive being. When he occupies himself in art and performs his art, he is immersed in it and thinks of nothing else. He heavily concentrates on achievements, dedicating all he has for presenting something nice to others. Here, I have found this peace of mind and it is priceless.
I owe no small debt to Yekta Kölemenoğlu for offering this chance. I also want to give my special thanks to the President İkrami Özturan and the board members. Every one of them is dedicated to what they do, and deserves appreciation. They are so good at what they do that we only need to make music, that's all. I am utterly happy to be making music with other artists, choir conductor colleagues, instrument players, and enthusiastic chorists at FAMİ Music & Art Society. Hopefully, we will provide services for a lifetime and as long as we are capable of.
