TARKAN’S HARBİYE MARATHON

-

Megastar Tarkan’s eagerly-expected concert series that became an annual classic at Harbiye ended after seven concerts for the year. Harbiye hosted approximately 50.000 people for seven days, witnessed to many memorable moments. With his timeless songs, the singer offered a full-of-memories concert experience to the audience starting from its first day. He stayed on the stage for 20 hours in total for seven days, sweeping the audience off its feet.

Before his last show, the singer addressed to his fans through his social media account, thanking. “It will be the last show at Harbiye today.

It is sad. Hopefully we will meet again next year. Thank you all for everything and especially for your love and kind interest. You were always there, whether there is an earthquake or very bad weather conditions. I will appreciate this forever and will never forget.” he posted.

Tarkan’s fans sang along the singer at the open air concerts. Apart from his repertoire of classic hits such as “Kuzu Kuzu”, “Şımarık”, “Ölürüm Sana”, “Kış Güneşi”, his bonus track “Yalnızlar Treni” specific to Harbiye – lyrics written by Nazan Öncel- was one of the most special.

Always leading the masses in environmental friendly initiatives, Tarkan presented a video made in his own voice, calling out for increased awareness for hotly-debated climate crisis.
