İKSV 48. İstanbul Müzik Festivali, dünyaca ünlü piyanist İdil Biret’in yanı sıra Evelyn Glennie, Konzerthausorchester Berlin & Vikingur Olafsson, Beethoven & David Bowie ‘Rebel Rebel’, ‘Bebeklere Beatles’, Wiener Akademie, Artemis Quartet, Kheops Ensemble gibi çok sayıda konsere ev sahipliği yapacak. İstanbul Kültür Sanat Vakfı’nın (İKSV) bu yıl 48’incisini düzenlediği İstanbul Müzik Festivali’nin görsel kimliği, Işık Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Görsel İletişim Tasarımı Bölümü Öğretim Görevlisi Geray Gençer’in festival özelinde tasarladığı çalışmalardan seçildi. Gençer’in tasarımları, festivalle ilgili tüm görsel iletişim çalışmalarında yer aldı.
Türkiye’deki en saygın ve köklü klasik müzik etkinlikleri arasında yer alan festival, 2 - 25 Haziran tarihleri arasında ‘Beethoven’ın Aydınlık Dünyası’ temasıyla bestecinin ikonik eserlerine, yeni eser siparişlerine ve ondan esinlenen yeni projelere yer verecek.

The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) celebrates its 48th anniversary this year. Its visual identity was chosen by academician of Işık University Fine Arts Academy, Geray Gençer. The creations of Gençer were used in every single visual communication work of the festival, which is one of the most notable and deeply-rooted classical music events of Turkey. Having the theme “Beethoven’s Bright World”, the festival is taking place between 2-25 June, with iconic works of Beethoven, involving the Beethoven-inspired new projects.
Apart from the world-wide-known Turkish pianist İdil Biret, the 48th İKSV will host many other concerts namely Evelyn Glennie, Konzerthausorchester Berlin&VikingurOlafsson, Beethoven & David Bowie ‘RebelRebel’, ‘Bebeklere Beatles’, Wiener Akademie, Artemis Quartet and Kheops Ensemble.
