Dışarıda doğanın baharın gelişini selamladığı, bizimse içerde yoğun duygularla mücadele ettiğimiz şu günlerde, köşemizde müzik terapide etik konusuna göz atacağız. Müzik terapi, sağlık sisteminin sözel yolla ulaşamadığı kişilerle çalışmayı mümkün kılarak yeni kapılar açma gücüne sahip bir disiplin. Ancak bu alanın ülkemizde sağlıklı biçimde yaygınlaşması için bu alanda hizmet veren terapist ve kuruluşların çalışma etiğini öncelemeleri çok önemli. These days, while nature salutes the coming of the spring outside and we are struggling with intense emotions inside, we are examining the area of ethics in music therapy in our article.Music therapy is a discipline which can open new doors to work with people who have difficulty engaging in the traditional psychological interventions which exist in the current health system. However, it is important for therapists and organizations serving in this field to prioritize work ethics, in order to spread music therapy throughout our country in a proper way. The Music Therapy Association has recently created a code of ethics which follows the guidelines of the World Music Therapy Federation and the European Music Therapy Confederation. By using a high standard of ethics, we hope it sets a strong example here in our own country. We hope that all of us in the field pay attention to and respect these standards of ethics.
