Block presence is increasing
Blocks also played a major role at the biggest marble fair of Turkey, which is the biggest block marble producer of the world. Exhibited at the open air area, many beautiful marbles with different colors and patterns were presented to the visitors. İZFAŞ announced that a total of 1500 blocks, which weigh 30 tons in total, were exhibited. It’s possible to say that block area expanded a little this year at MARBLE Izmir. In other words blocks’ presence at the fair increased. We should also underline the fact that a great majority of the blocks exhibited at the fair were sold.4
