Hosting the event, Aydın Dinçer, the president of

İMİB, put emphasis on the fact that the half of Turkey’s mining export income came from natural stones.

Reminding that they were organizing sectoral trade committees for the promotion of Turkish stones as İMİB, Dinçer said, “We’ve gone to China, India,

Indonesia, Malasia, USA, England, Canada, Nigeria and South Africa with our committees. We’ll go to

Argentina, Chili, Dubai, Germany, Mexico, Brazil and

Taiwan as well. Our target is to reach every country with our sectoral trade committees.”4
