Medmar elegance at Xiamen
2021’e girerken Türk doğaltaş sektörünün vitrini pek çok yeni ve göz alıcı taşla süslenmişti. Bunların arasında en dikkat çekenlerden biri de Medmar’ın Konya Yunak Ocağı’ndan çıkarılan Blue Ice Grey’di kuşkusuz. Öyle ki Medmar Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Erol Berberoğlu da dergimize verdiği röportajda Blue Ice Grey’in özel yapısına vurgu yapıyor ve “Bu taş dünya literatürüne girecek” diyordu. Blue Ice Grey, Xiamen Fuarı’nda ilk kez sergilendi, hem sunumundaki şıklık hem de güzelliğiyle dikkatleri üzerine topladı.
By the end of 2020, many showcases displaying examples from the Turkish natural stone industry had been adorned with many exclusive, spectacular stones. One of those standing out was of course Blue Ice Grey extracted at Medmar’s Yunak Quarry in Konya. Such that, during his interview with our magazine Medmar’s board chairman Erol Berberoğlu emphasized the special structure of Blue Ice Grey saying, “This stone will influence the world.” Blue Ice Grey has been exhibited two times at Xiamen and attracted attention thanks to its elegant presentation and beauty.
Medmar’ın Çin’deki partner firmaları tarafından sergilenen taş, ‘okyanus konsepti’ içinde yerini aldı. Bir okyanusun içinde küçük balıklar ve balinanın yansıtıldığı sunum, kesinlikle göz alıcıydı. Medmar yetkilileri, Xiamen’de taşın gördüğü ilginin memnuniyet verici olduğunun altını çizdi. Blok verimliliğiyle tam not alan Blue Ice Grey, çok kısa sürede 50’ye yakın ülkeden talep görmeyi başarmıştı.
Exhibited by Medmar’s partner companies in China, the stone was presented in the “ocean concept.” The presentation in which little fish and a whale were projected was spectacular. Authorities of Medmar stated that the overall interest received by the stone at Xiamen was satisfying. Getting the thumbs up with its superior block productiveness, Blue Ice Grey had received orders from almost fifty countries in a short period.
