Hedel signature by Hartek and Gökyar

Journalism is full of surprises. Sometimes you have to pursue the news for days and weeks. But sometimes, it appears right before you! Ours is actually a combination of the two. We were after a piece of news when another one appeared right before us. During our visit to Gökyar Marble in Bilecik, we found ourselves photographing a new agreement. Switching to cut rocks in production instead of metal sheets, Gökyar Marble was at the table with Hartek for its new investment. Atilla Keleş, the board chairman of Gökyar Marble, board members Osman Keleş and Fatih Keleş signed an agreement with Zafer Harmandal, the board chairman of Hartek. And Marble Trend witnessed this special moment.

What does this signature mean? Let us tell you. Hartek is one of the successful companies in Turkey’s diamond cutter, cut rock sheet, saw and wire production. It has become the Turkish representative of Brazil’s famous natural stone machinery producer Hedel. Presenting Hedel’s new wire cutter machine, which cuts better and way faster, to the Turkish natural stone industry, Hartek made its first agreement with Gökyar Marble.

Giving information about the new machine called Multifios Delta Wire 2 Force, Gökyar Marble’s board member Osman Keleş said, “Our new 210 cm-wide machine with 80 wires will enable us to produce in a more delicate manner and will considerably increase our production speed. We will also be able to cut the biggest blocks at one time. We have a cutting range from 1.2 meters to 80 cm. Now we’ll be able to work better even with the most problematic stones.”
