We touch the stone’s soul

-

Everybody’s talking about one particular firm these days. Thanks to its workmanship, quality and professionality, the sector is highly satisfied. We followed the traces of the sector and asked ourselves: “What is the secret of this success?” and set off to Marmados Marble, the “slab production center.” We visited the factory director Onur Turhan. But let us tell you the beginning of the story. Marmados Marble was founded by Erhan Demircan and Özgür Yaprak in 2012. As their philosophy, they embraced “qualified production.” Being in charge since the first day, Mr. Onur defines the last 9 years as “a journey chasing quality.”

The factory in Denizli is overstuffed. The slab area is full and many exquisite stones are waiting for their buyers. As he talks about the reasons behind their success, Onur Turan says, “Our main philosophy is the quality. To boost our quality even further, we prioritized our R&D studies. We constantly ask ourselves: “How can we do better?

How does Italy process its own stones? What kind of outcomes do they receive? What do Brazil, China, Spain and Portugal do? What do they add to their stones?

How do they produce them?” Because each stone has its own texture and structure. Here at Marmados, we have embraced a special production policy that suits each stone’s soul. We touch the stone’s soul and the outcome proves to be highly satisfactory.”

Trust is a fundamental element of business. And Marmados is quite clear about this matter. As Mr. Onur says, there’s no lie here. Firstly, each block that goes through the production phase is recorded and photographed in every single stage. The slabs are given numbers and the production process is shared with both the producer and the buyer. Mr. Onur concludes his words: We are solution partners and responsible to both our buyers and sellers. We want our material to be sold in their real value. All we need is that the product is convenient. We make the best of that stone adding the maximum value to it. If it is not in the perfect state we don’t cut it because we know that we have always benefited from honesty and transparency.”
