ECODESIGN BECOMES POPULAR

The event “Cemre Bazaar” is organized by the Social Development Center Education and Social Solidarity Association (TOGEM-DER), which is an organization under the auspices of H.E. Emine Erdoğan, wife of Turkish President

H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the theme “Zero Waste” at the Grand Sheraton Hotel, Istanbul. Last year, the event hosted Bea Johnson, a world pioneer of zero waste, and received a great response. This year, in order to raise awareness of zero waste once again and bring attention among the public to recycling, the event is hosting famous designers including Ezra-tuba Çetin, Tuvana Büyükçınar, and Hakan Akkaya who focus on ecodesign. Famous chefs including Claudio Chinali, Eyüp Kemal Sevinç, Sinem Özler, and Emine Beder will organize workshops at the event aimed at recycling in the kitchen. Proceeds from the event, which is open to the public and where more than 100 brands ranging from textiles to home accessories will be present, will be donated to the “Zero Waste” project and children in need.
