Model of resin line
RESIN APPLICATION
The epoxy process is mainly based on five phases:
1. Material drying
2. Resin and mesh application on the back side
3. Back side curing
4. Resin application on the front side
5. Front side curing
However, the result of the process depends on the quality of the resin used and the stone itself. The most significant factor in the process is the fact that the epoxy needs to find the right environment so that it can effectively penetrate into the stone’s cracks, and the stone slab should not break or be damaged during its transportation within the line.
For each of the above operations, ION produces specific machines capable of maximizing the efficiency of the resining process. Each ION line is designed based upon the stone, the required capacity and the physical conditions of the factory.
