Türk doğal taş sektörü 2018 yılında ihracatta 6,8 değer kaybına uğradı ve hedeflenen 2.5 milyar Dolar barajını aşamadı. Yıl sonunda tabloda görülen toplam kazanç 1.908.306.291,26 Dolar olarak kayıtlara geçti. Evet.. Zorlu bir süreç içerisindeyiz ve gün geçtikçe bunu daha fazla hisseder olduk. Son aldığımız yıl sonu ihracat rakamları da bize bunu kanıtlıyor. Sektör, 2019 yılına, ihracatta yüzde 6,8 değer kaybı ile merhaba dedi. Doğal taş sektörü bundan yaklaşık 11 yıl önce Mortgage Krizinin etkisi ile mücadele etmek zorunda kalmıştı. Bu kriz, o dönem sektörün en büyük alıcısı olan Amerika Birleşik Devletlerine gerçekleştirilen ihracatta önemli bir kayba neden olmuştu. Fakat krizden fırsat da doğmuştu. Bu kriz ile Tek pazar odaklı çalışmanın nedenli tehlikeli olduğu fark edilmiş ve yeni pazarlara yelken açılmıştı. Ve Çin, o dönemde Türk doğal taş sektörünün adeta can simidi olmuştu. Son zamanlarda doğal taş ihracatının neredeyse yarıya yakınını göğüslenen Çin’e gerçekleştirilen ihracatta da düşüş yaşanıyor. En son gelen tabloya baktığımızda Çin’e yapılan ihracatta yüzde 18,16’lik bir değer kaybı söz konusu. Gelin şimdi detaylara bakalım.

Çin’de düşüş devam ediyor

Blok ihracatının ana Pazarı diyebileceğimiz Çin’e 2018 yılında 773.837.526 Dolarlık ihracat gerçekleştirildi. Geçen yıl ise bu rakam 945.660.892 Dolar idi. 2017 ile 2018 yılı arasında ki bir yıllık süreçte değerde yüzde 18,16’lık düşüş yaşandı. Miktara baktığımızda ise yüzde 15,82’lik bir düşüş görülüyor. Geçtiğimiz yıl 469.386.9853 kilo taş satılan alan Çin 2018 yılında, 3951629077 kilo doğal taş alımı gerçekleştirdi. The natural stone sector had to struggle with the impacts of the Mortgage Crisis approximately 11 years ago. This crisis caused a significant loss in exports to the United States, which was the biggest buyer of the sector at that time. However, this crisis turned out to be an opportunity for some. It was realized that the single market-oriented trade is dangerous for the sector. Thus, the sector sailed into new target markets like China. Chinese market had become the life buoy for Turkish natural stone producers in that period. In recent years, almost half of the natural stone exports to China is experiencing a decline. When we look at the most recent figures, we see that natural stone exports to China fell by 18.16 percent. Let’s look at the details.

Ongoing Decline in China

The total value of block exports to China was $ 773,837,526 in 2018. Last year, this figure was $ 945.660.892. In 2017 and 2018, there was a decrease of 18.16 percent in value. This means 15.82 % decrease in amount. The amount of natural stone sold to China was 469.386.9853 kg in 2017. However, this amount decreased to 3951629077 kg in 2018.

Blok ihracatındaki genel durum

Çin’e gerçekleştirilen ihracatta yaşanan düşüş genel ihracata olduğu gibi blok ihracatını da yansıdı. Blok Mermer tablolarını incelediğimizde 2018 yılında, bir önceki yıla oranla yüzde 14,37’lik bir kaybın yaşandığını görüyoruz. Çin’in yanısıra Vietnam (yüzde 31,71) ve Tayland’da (yüzde 3,91) yapılan doğal taş ihracatında da değer kayıpları var. Toplamda ise yıl sonunda blok mermer ihracatından elde edilen gelir yüzde 14,37’lik düşüş ile 945.179.244 Dolar olarak kayıtlara geçti. Bu rakam geçen yıl 1.103.833.127 Dolar idi.

Hindistan’da yüzde 6,37’lik artış

Gelelim blok ihracatının bir diğer önemli oyuncusu Hindistan’a. Çin’den sonra en fazla blok alımı yapan Hindistan’a gerçekleşen ihracatta değerde ve miktarda neredeyse başabaş, yüzde 6,37’lik bir artış söz konusu. Fakat bu tatmin edici bir artış mı? Türkiye ve Hindistan ticareti arasındaki en büyük sorunlardan biri, Hindistan hükümetinin ithalata uyguladığı kota idi. Sektör temsilcilerinin büyük mücadelesi sonucu, kota uygulamasına son verildi ve böylece büyük bir pazarın kapısı aralanmış oldu. Kotanın kaldırıldığı ilk yıllarda Hindistan’dan Türk doğal taş ürünlerine talep artmaya başlamış ve Hindistan’a gerçekleştirilen ihracatta önemli artış sağlanmıştı. Bugünkü tabloya baktığımızda artışlar yüzde 6 oranında. Rakamlar bize Türk doğal taş sektörünün 2018 yılında Hindistan’a 457.733.082 kilo taş karşılığında 90.236.657 Dolarlık ihracat gerçekleştirdiğini söylüyor.

General Situation in Block Exports

The decline in exports to China was reflected on to the overall exports as well as the block exports. When we examine the block marble export figures, we see a loss of 14.37 % in 2018 compared to the previous year. In addition to China, there was value loss in natural stone trade with Vietnam (31.71 percent) and Thailand (3.91 percent). In total, revenue from block marble exports at the end of the year has declined by 14.37 % to $ 945.179.244. This figure was $ 1,103,833,127 last year.

% 6,37 Increase in the Indian Market

Let’s talk about the another important player of the block export, India. There is 6.37 % increase in the amount and value of natural stone exports to India, which buys the highest number of blocks after China. However, this is not a satisfactory increase. One of the biggest problems in natural stone trade between Turkey and India, was the quotas applied to imports by the Indian government. Because of the great struggle of the sector representatives, the quota application was terminated and thus the access to a big market was made possible. In the first years of the removal of quotas, demand for Turkish natural stone products in India started to grow and a significant increase was achieved in India. Looking at the current figures, the increase rate is 6 %. The figures tell us that the Turkish natural stone industry exported 457,733,082 kg of natural stone to India in return of 2018 $ 90,236,657.
