Kuzey Makedonya’da yapılan bir kamuoyu araştırması, ülke halkının en fazla sempatiyle baktığı ülkenin Türkiye olduğunu ortaya koydu. Mart ve

Nisan aylarında ABD merkezli Ulusal Demokrasi Enstitüsü (NDI) tarafından gerçekleştirilen bir anketin sonuçlarına göre Kuzey Makedonya halkı arasında en popüler ülke, katılımcıların yüzde 52’sinin olumlu baktığı Türkiye oldu.

Türkiye’yi halkın yüzde 48’inin olumlu baktığı Rusya izledi. Ankette ABD’ye olumlu bakanların oranı yüzde 43, Çin’e olumlu bakanların oranı ise yüzde 38 oldu. Veriler, daha önce yapılan anketlere göre ABD ve Çin’in imajının zedelendiğini, Türkiye ve Rusya’nın popülaritesinin ise artış kaydettiğini ortaya koydu.

Anketin sonuçlarına göre Kuzey Makedonya’nın Avrupa Birliği’ne (AB) üyeliğine verilen destekte de düşüş kaydedildi. Katılımcıların yüzde 67’si AB üyeliğini desteklerken katılımcıların yüzde 19’u üyeliğe karşı çıktı. Veriler, 2018’den bu yana AB karşıtlarının oranının yüzde 10 arttığını ortaya koyuyor.

NATO üyeliğine destek ise yüzde 63 (2018’de yüzde 64) olarak kaydedilirken NATO karşıtlığı da 2018’e göre yüzde 9 artış kaydederek yüzde 24 seviyesine yükseldi. (www. balkannews.com.tr)

A poll conducted in northern Macedonia found that Turkey is the country most sympathetic to the country’s people. Turkey was the most popular country among the people of North Macedonia, with 52% of respondents favouring it, according to a survey conducted by the US-based National Democratic Institute (NDI) in March and April.

Turkey was followed by Russia, where 48% of the people viewed it positively. The rate of those who viewed the USA positively was 43%, and the rate of those who viewed China positively was 38% in the survey.

China has been damaged and the popularity of Turkey and Russia has increased according to the previous surveys.

Support for northern Macedonia’s membership in the European Union (EU) has also declined according to the results of the survey. 67% of respondents supported EU membership; however, 19% opposed it. The data shows that the proportion of anti-EU people has increased by 10% since 2018.

Support for NATO membership was 63% (64% in 2018); however, anti-NATO views increased by 9% to 24% compared to 2018. (www. balkannews.com.tr)
