Kazakhstan’s economy grows by 3% in the first 8 months
Aset Irgaliyev, the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, reported that the country’s economy grew by 3% in January-August 2021.
Aset Irgaliyev, the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, said at the meeting of the Council of Ministers that investments in the non-mining sectors increased and the positive balance in trade continued in addition to the growth in the real and service sectors in the economy in the first 8 months of this year.
Irgaliyev, stating that in JanuaryAugust 2021, the country’s economy recovered systematically and grew by 3% said, “The real sector continues to be the main factor in the stability of the economy. The real sector increased by 3.5% in the period in question. Commercial activity in the service sector grew by 2.3%.” “The positive growth in the construction, trade, manufacturing, communication and agricultural sectors is also reflected in the economic rates”, Irgaliyev said. Irgaliyev pointed out that the foreign trade volume of the country was $53.7 billion in the first 8 months of the year and said that the export of raw materials increased by 23.4% to $10.4 billion.
