PRODUCTION TO INCREASE EIGHTFOLD

Ceyhun Halilov, Economic Consultant of Republic of Azerbaijan to Ankara, announced that there were great opportunities for Turkish business people within the scope of modernisation and restructuring of Nagorno-Karabakh with the poem of ‘two states-one nation’. Halilov, who made evaluations for Istanbul Trade Magazine, said:

Production will increase eightfold in the Karabakh region. The liberation of Azerbaijan from the occupation of its own territory has brought many opportunities for economic cooperation and investments between the two countries. Production in these regions will increase approximately 8 times in the near future considering the productivity of the land, as well as its richness in terms of raw materials and natural resources. In addition, this region is very important in terms of tourism. Azerbaijan is in the process of negotiating with friendly countries in the investments to transform these areas back into a liveable environment. I can say that these countries are Turkey and Italy, respectively. The first contracts have been signed with Turkish companies. This is very natural, because Turkey is a sister country. We expect to announce incentive and support programs for these regions soon.
