The return of the Oak Room at The Abu Dhabi EDITION back in May heralds a treat for the culinary senses in true signature British rock ‘n’ roll flair. The award-winning steakhouse by Britain’s Tom Aikens is serving up three delightful offerings of, quite simply, world-class ingredient­s.

Are you new to the Oak Room? Tread lightly at the Oak Room Intro, where you will be served a pick of three tasting plates from a variety of starters, mains and desserts. This mid-week, lighter treat is a brilliant way to taste what the Oak Room is famed for - traditiona­l British classics. If one thing is certain, we guarantee you will be back for more!

The top of the Oak Room offering just has to be the favourite Oak Room Brunch. Known across the capital as a spirited Friday affair for a reason - interactiv­e mixology, robust grape selections and premium bubbles, the menu offering teases and tantlises yet always delivers the very best in British fayre.

The highlight just has to be the Oak Room Sourdough with quintessen­tial English Marmite Butter - surely a conversati­on starter as you tuck into an array of shared starters such as Loch Fyne Oysters and Beef Tartar. You are then spoilt for choice by no less than seven main courses. What will it be? The USDA Prime Tenderloin, Phoenix Wagyu Rump, Australian Lamb Rack or perhaps the classic old-fashioned Fish and Chips – all of which are served with homemade sides and sauces.

The great British roast is elevated at the sought-after Oak Room Saturday Roast. So popular is the three-hour affair, that booking ahead is a must! Once you see the menu, you will know why. Seasonal salads are on the starter list, quickly followed by that fabulous British dish, the Beef Wellington but uniquely so, the chefs at the Oak Room have added their special touch to transform this classic into a rather delectable Salmon Wellington! Tuck into roasted Striploin of Beef and Lamb Saddle accompanie­d by crisp roast potatoes to cauliflowe­r cheese and traditiona­l Yorkshire puddings. There is Sticky Toffee Pudding and Apple and Blackberry Crumble for desserts, not to mention an exquisite cheese selection too.
