An evocative display of objects by 12 Japanese National Living Treasures,
revered artisans whose mastery of traditional skills makes them a valued part of the country’s cultural heritage.
Among the exquisite works were kimonos, an urushi lacquered harp and a bamboo flower basket. All the objects are displayed on 12 stoneshaped blocks were designed by co-curator (and iconic industrial
designer) Naoto Fukasawa.
