Anyone who has followed the rise and fall of Amanda Bynes knows it’s been a rollercoaster few years for the troubled actress.

Amanda became a tragic gure at the height of her addiction-related meltdowns and often made it into the tabloids for all the wrong reasons, and she is still coming to terms with all the things she said and did.

This week she made a rare appearance on the cover of Paper magazine, shedding some light on her dark days.

“I’m really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said,” she tells Paper. “I can’t turn back time but if I could, I would. And

I’m so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me.”

Amanda also says she’s the only one to blame. “Everything I worked my whole life to achieve, I kind of ruined it all through Twitter... It’s de nitely not Twitter’s fault – it’s my own fault,” she confessed.

I’m just glad she’s looking like her old self again, and that she’s on the road to recovery.
