El Sisi urges stepping up Arab dev’t efforts
Egyptian President AbdelFatah El Sisi last Monday called for exerting more
Arab efforts to attain sustainable development in the Arab region.
Addressing the second edition of Arab Week for Sustainable Development at the league headquarters in a speech delivered on his behalf by Minister of Planning Hala Al Said, El Sisi boasted that the event had produced “fruitful cooperation” thanks to the efforts of the Arab League, World Bank and UN.
The gathering comes at a time when the world is experiencing swift economic and political circumstances and changes, thus posing further burdens and challenges, the president said.
