Apical Reform for Gaggenau

Amrish Patel, the owner and creative director of Apical Reform, worked with Gaggenau to create something futuristic, yet subtle – much like his own style. “The idea was to go for something minimal, yet innovative,” he says. “I usually use only three colours: white, grey and black.” The concept included three 3D printed vases which stood as the main centrepieces, while a mechanical art display of a tornado helped set the design apart. “The Tornadoes were a collaboration with MB&F, a brand that I adore for its complex watches.”

Dream Dinner guest? The late Zaha Hadid, Thomas Heatherwick or Maximilian Büsser, the three people I admire the most.
