TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND A DISTINCT DESIGN LANGUAGE MAKE GAGGENAU THE KITCHEN APPLIANCE MAKER OF CHOICE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Known for gracing some of the world’s most high-end homes, luxury appliance manufacturer Gaggenau has recently opened its biggest showroom in the Middle East. With a history dating back to 1683, the German company has revolutionised the domestic kitchen with its internationally acclaimed products.
Now, with the Gaggenau Galleria in Dubai, the brand has an impressive space overlooking the Burj Khalifa to display it's innovative appliances and show them in action. The steel-and-glass showroom has a feature wall made with wood sourced from Gaggenau’s birthplace, the Black Forest, which was also celebrated by the German-influenced menu of chef Karl Elias at the launch event. A striking, Arabesque-style ceiling adds a regional touch.
“This is a testament to our individuality and design-centric approach within the luxury kitchen appliance market,” says Tomas Alonso, CEO of BSH Home appliances FZE, “It further cements our dedication to revolutionising the future of the domestic kitchen.”
Built to combine functionality with sleek aesthetics, Gaggenau’s designs work seamlessly together – think stainless steel fridges integrating perfectly with large drinks coolers, ovens aligned with built-in coffee machines, and hobs blending into Teppan Yaki. At Milan’s EuroCucina 2018, the brand unveiled Gaggenau
Home, a concept space focused on open-plan kitchen and living rooms. It provided a fittingly impressive backdrop to showcase a suite of new launches including the new Vario cooling series as well as baking, coffee and cooking appliances. “The Gaggenau Home was based on the scale and design of this new range, and its ability to go far beyond the kitchen,” adds Alonso. “And, so far, we feel this is something we have achieved with great success.” gaggenau. com/ae
