Avi­a­tion Ser­vices Man­age­ment (ASM), a UAE-based avi­a­tion sup­port ser­vices com­pany, re­cently cel­e­brated its 20th year of op­er­a­tion. Since its in­cep­tion back on the 22 Oc­to­ber 1998, ASM has over the last two decades, fos­tered a re­puted name for it­self within the global flight sup­port in­dus­try.

The com­pany was founded by Vito Gomes, a renowned avi­a­tor who pur­sued his dream of serv­ing the com­mer­cial and busi­ness avi­a­tion in­dus­try, through the cre­ation of a one-stop shop ca­pa­ble of de­liv­er­ing per­son­alised so­lu­tions, tai­lored for each and ev­ery client.

The founder and CEO grew his busi­ness from its hum­ble be­gin­nings in the UAE, to es­tab­lish­ing a global pres­ence across a num­ber of key avi­a­tion mar­kets around the world. This in­cludes ex­pand­ing ASM’s pres­ence in the Mid­dle East, Africa, Eu­rope, as well as the South Asia and East Asia mar­kets.

To­day, ASM main­tains busi­ness op­er­a­tions in bustling lo­ca­tions, such as Goa and Mum­bai, In­dia; Colombo, SriLanka; Nairobi, Kenya; Moscow, Rus­sia; and Sin­ga­pore.

Rather than rest­ing on their lau­rels, the team at ASM con­tinue to bol­ster the com­pany’s global reach, ex­plor­ing new ven­tures into un­tapped mar­kets, which in turn will de­liver ex­cit­ing new op­por­tu­ni­ties for busi­ness.

The com­pany’s port­fo­lio com­prises of in-house and third-party avi­a­tion sup­port ser­vices, which in­cludes ev­ery­thing from air­craft fu­elling, air char­ter, flight plan­ning, land­ing and fly­ing per­mits, rep­re­sen­ta­tion, ground han­dling, as well as concierge so­lu­tions.

ASM is recog­nised by lead­ing in­ter­na­tional in­dus­try or­gan­i­sa­tions such as NBAA, EBAA, BBGA and IATA. To date, the flight sup­port com­pany has de­liv­ered ser­vices to over 150 in­ter­na­tional air­lines across 3,000 lo­ca­tions glob­ally.
