The one-day course was held on the 26 October at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai and was led by BA cabin crew and pilots

Last month, British Airways once again hosted its popular Flying With Confidence course. Drawing upon the experience and expertise of the carrier’s own pilots and cabin crew, the course helps UAE residents to conquer their fears of flying, by addressing the various psychological challenges associated with air-travel.

Boasting a success rate of 98%, the course has, since its inception, reportedly helped more than 50,000 attendees in the Middle East alone. Split into two sessions over a single day, the course addressed common flight occurrences and provided participants various ways of coping with them. This included covering aircraft functions, causes of turbulence, as well as other technical aspects of aviation.

BA’s team of experts leading the course also instructed participants on the various breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that will aid in controlling one’s anxieties.
