Emrill, a UAE-based facilities management specialist, has announced the appointment of Louise Arkley, who will serve as the senior facilities manager for the company’s Dubai International Airport contract.

Taking over for predecessor Sarah Rodgers, who has been promoted to the head of training, Arkley arrives at her new role with over 15 years’ experience in aviation services and airside operation. Working with the likes of Emirates Airline and British Airways, the senior facilities manager’s notable portfolio of work includes a period of managing over 1,900 staff on a key dnata airside contract in the UAE.

Arkley will now oversee Emrill’s soft services contract at DXB’s Terminal 3, which delivers cleaning and janitorial services through a team of 800 professionals comprising of 12 different nationalities.

“Our talent acquisition plan places significant emphasis on recruiting sector specialists with demonstrable industry experience in each one of our market segments served. Bringing Louise on board, with her extensive hands-on aviation experience, is a good example of this commitment working,” shared Alex Davies, managing director at Emrill.

“Through ongoing staff training, her industry-leading knowledge can be transferred to other Emrill team members with the objective of introducing new FM techniques and innovations that benefit our clients and endusers through constantly raising standards.”
