Virgin Atlantic re-ups Trenchard; Execujet Haite expands China Portfolio; Sky Regional Airlines signs StandardAero
Virgin Atlantic recently renewed its long-term MRO contract with Trenchard Aviation Group, a provider of aircraft cabin MRO services. Trenchard Aviation Group is expected to continue delivering aircraft cabin material management services to the carrier. It has also been reported that the work will be carried out by the Group’s nose-totail cabin maintenance and total care management company, Aero Technics. The company will deliver a range of services as part of the project, such as interior parts development and repair, galley insert repairs, and dry cleaning.
ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services China has unveiled a new set of heavy maintenance capabilities for its facility at Tianjin Binhai International Airport in China. The company is now authorised to conduct CAAC Base Maintenance on the Gulfstream V series (G550) up to 72-month base check, along with capabilities for the Falcon 7X for up to 48-month base check. Additionally, ExecuJet Haite added the entire Bombardier Global product line up for both EASA and Aruba certification up to 60-month check.
StandardAero has announced a new multi-year agreement with Sky Regional Airlines, where it is tasked in delivering MRO services for the airline’s Pratt & Whitney Canada APS2300 auxiliary power units (APUs). The APUs are currently deployed across the entirety of the carrier’s Embraer E175 regional jets. The MRO service provider will service fleet’s APS2300 APUs at its OEM-approved Authorized Repair Facility (ARF) in Maryville, Tennessee.
