Emi­rates inks code­share part­ner­ship with LATAM Air­lines Brazil

Pas­sen­gers fly­ing with Emi­rates will now be able to connect with 17 cities un­der LATAM’s do­mes­tic net­work

LATAM Air­lines Brazil and Emi­rates Air­line have signed a new code­share part­ner­ship that cov­ers do­mes­tic ser­vices in Brazil.

As per the agree­ment, pas­sen­gers fly­ing with Emi­rates to and from Brazil will now have ac­cess to 17 cities in LATAM’s do­mes­tic net­work.

Sim­i­larly, pas­sen­gers travelling from Brazil will have the opportunit­y to fly to Emi­rates’ Dubai hub and connect on to the Mid­dle East’s global net­work of 150 des­ti­na­tions. Ad­di­tion­ally, pas­sen­gers fly­ing to Dubai have the op­tion of book­ing a Dubai stopover pack­age, along with be­ing able to take ad­van­tage of a 90-day, free of charge visa on ar­rival.

“We’re pleased to es­tab­lish a part­ner­ship with LATAM Air­lines Brazil pro­vid­ing our pas­sen­gers with in­creased choice, flex­i­bil­ity and ease of con­nec­tion to dif­fer­ent cities within Brazil,” said Ad­nan Kazim, Emi­rates’ divi­sional SVP, Strate­gic Plan­ning, Rev­enue Op­ti­miza­tion and Aeropo­lit­i­cal Af­fairs.

“We con­tin­u­ously in­vest in pro­vid­ing more ben­e­fits to our cus­tomers. With our award-win­ning prod­uct and strong part­ners in Brazil, we look for­ward to con­tin­u­ing sup­port­ing the coun­try’s grow­ing in­bound tourist num­bers and busi­ness trade op­por­tu­ni­ties.”

Emi­rates’ cur­rent Brazil of­fer­ings con­sist of daily ser­vices to Dubai from Sao Paulo, served by an A380, along with flights to Rio de Janeiro, which will soon be op­er­ated by Boe­ing 777-200LR from 1 June 2019. Once de­ployed, trav­ellers can fly with the Boe­ing 777-200LR to Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile from Rio de Janeiro.
