Dnata and Lufthansa Group con­tinue to build part­ner­ship in US

The Dubai-based avi­a­tion ser­vice provider will pro­vide ramp, se­cure clean and pas­sen­ger han­dling ser­vices for Lufthansa at Austin-Bergstrom In­ter­na­tional Air­port

Ex­pand­ing their on­go­ing col­lab­o­ra­tion within the US avi­a­tion mar­ket, dnata has been tasked by Lufthansa Group to pro­vide ramp, se­cure clean and pas­sen­ger han­dling ser­vices to the air­line at Austin-Bergstrom In­ter­na­tional Air­port.

Ad­di­tion­ally, dnata will of­fer its ser­vices to other mem­bers un­der the Lufthansa Group: Swiss In­ter­na­tional Air Lines, Aus­trian Air­lines and Edel­weiss Air.

In Austin Texas, the avi­a­tion ser­vices provider will over­see Lufthansa’s new Frank­furt flight, which will be served by the air­line five times a week on an A330300 air­craft.

Ac­tive in the US mar­ket since 2016, dnata has in­vested more than $45m in fa­cil­i­ties, equip­ment, train­ing and tech­nol­ogy. Se­cur­ing 26 new con­tracts within the last 12 months, the com­pany’s US portfolio to­day con­sists of 60 air­lines served at 28 air­ports.

Dnata will of­fer its ser­vices to other mem­bers un­der the Lufthansa Group.
