Fly­dubai places ma­jor or­der for 175 B737 MAX

FLY­DUBAI HAS spelled out its re­gional nar­row­body am­bi­tions af­ter plac­ing a $27 bil­lion or­der for 175 B737 MAX air­craft (with 50 op­tions) which will be phased in from 2019. The air­line will have a fleet of 61 Next-Gen­er­a­tion B737-800 air­craft and B737 MAX 8 air­craft by the end of this year and al­ready has a pipe­line of 70 air­craft due for de­liv­ery by 2023.

The air­line dis­played its new B737 MAX at the Dubai Air­show which con­tains a 10-seat busi­ness class cabin.
