Ground has broken on the 143-room HOTEL INDIGO in Dubai, billed as a fully sustainable hotel in which all its energy needs will be met by solar power. Executives staying in IHG’S CAIRO CITYSTARS properties (InterContinental, Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites) shouldn’t have any connectivity issues, after high-speed internet has been upgraded to a bandwidth of 700MB, covering rooms, conference areas and outdoor and public spaces. The group has signed its first Crowne Plaza in Cairo – the 187-room hotel aims to open in Sheikh Zayed City in 2021.
