ETI­HAD AIR­WAYS will soon op­er­ate all-B787 Dream­liner ser­vices to Switzer­land when Geneva comes on stream from March 25, com­ple­ment­ing Zurich. EMI­RATES will re­in­state its sec­ond daily ser­vice to La­gos and re­sume op­er­a­tions to Nige­ria’s cap­i­tal city, Abuja, with four weekly flights from De­cem­ber 15. Loy­alty changes for AIR FRANCE too, whose Fly­ing Blue pro­gramme aims to be “sim­pler” and “more per­son­alised” from April 1. For each euro spent, Ivory, Sil­ver, Gold and Plat­inum mem­bers will re­ceive 4, 6, 7 and 8 Miles re­spec­tively. Ex­pe­ri­ence points, XP, will be cal­cu­lated ac­cord­ing to the type of flight and cabin. Marco Polo mem­bers will earn more points on CATHAY PA­CIFIC and Cathay Dragon flights across all zones in se­lect classes from De­cem­ber 8. The an­nual re­quire­ment for Green mem­bers will be re­duced from 100 to 20 club points.
