Saudis boosts LA flights and wifi con­nec­tiv­ity

SAUDI ARA­BIAN AIR­LINES (Sau­dia) is adding two non-stop flights a week be­tween Riyadh and Los An­ge­les for the peak fes­tive sea­son un­til the end of Jan­uary. It raises ser­vices to five-times weekly, com­ple­ment­ing thrice-weekly Riyad­hJed­dah-Los An­ge­les flights. The route is served by a B777-300ER with 12 First Suites, 36 busi­ness class seats and 242 econ­omy seats.

Mean­while Sau­dia has ex­tended on­board wifi to 47 des­ti­na­tions which is free for pre­mium pas­sen­gers. Econ­omy pas­sen­gers fly­ing to LA, Wash­ing­ton DC, New York, Lon­don Heathrow, Manch­ester and Dubai can ac­cess free wifi for 20 min­utes, but it is charged there­after.
