Wealth of options
With 10 hotels in Hong Kong, Harbour Plaza Hotels and Resorts has Something to suit every traveller
Anew high-speed rail linking Hong Kong and the mainland plus the new Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge (see October issue) are set to bring more travellers to Hong Kong than ever. And with over 7,000 guest rooms, suites and serviced suites, Harbour Plaza Hotels and Resorts is ready to welcome them. The leading hospitality provider operates three brands: the upscale Harbour Grand, distinctive Harbour Plaza and budget-friendly Rambler.
The award-winning Harbour Grand Hong Kong boasts an ideal North Point location with easy access to premium business districts and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Every room offers iconic harbour views, and for a more spectacular vista, guests can head up to the exclusive rooftop Skyline Pavilion. All serviced suites are equipped with pantries catering to the long-stay guests and select Patio rooms add pampering comfort with the heated outdoor Jacuzzis. The Harbour Club Lounge is a magnificent retreat for discerning guests, with a sleek wood-panelled boardroom which is ideal for holding your business meetings. Other leisure options include a fully equipped fitness centre, and the relaxing outdoor pool and spa.
Across the harbour is the recently renovated Harbour Grand Kowloon where guests are greeted by a magnificent lobby, decorated with the 'Prisms of light' – a chandelier made from 150,000 Swarovski crystals. The revamped event space offers a variety of new facilities including the rooftop pool deck and newly opened Waterfront Bar terrace. The completed renovation project sees an increase of 360 stylish new rooms and suites bringing the total number of guest rooms to 915.
Harbour Plaza North Point enjoys proximity to the vibrant Quarry Bay business district, within walking distance to the MTR. The Point Lobby Lounge offering live music draws an after-work crowd, while the gym and outdoor pool offer perfect work-out and relaxation.
Over in Hung Hom near the main railway to mainland China, Harbour Plaza Metropolis is the ideal gateway to the mainland. This property offers serviced suites with monthly rates for long-stay guests and a selection of F&B options from all-day dining at Promenade to al fresco cocktails at the Patio Bar. Comprehensive leisure facilities range from an outdoor pool to the spa centre.
China-bound guests may also consider the 1,102-room Harbour Plaza Resort City, just 30 minutes from China, Macau and the centre of Hong Kong. Rooms with modern décor, a cool New York bar and restaurant, and a pool and garden, all add up to an unforgettable experience.
Guests who crave the bustle of Mongkok should head to Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees, which also offers a free shuttle to the Airport Express and Tsim Sha Tsui.
At the Kowloon Harbourfront Hotel, guests will discover twobedroom suites plus free use of a handy smartphone, and enjoy other attractive options for events including the Ballroom and other function space.
The Kowloon Hotel boasts a prime location in Tsim Sha Tsui, with excellent accessibility to Hong Kong’s major business and tourist districts. The hotel also offers modern guest rooms, club lounge, business centre and four F&B venues.
The budget-friendly Rambler Garden Hotel and Rambler Oasis Hotel offer affordable rates while still boasting convenient locations near Hong Kong Airport and Asia World Expo. Scheduled shuttles to the MTR and Tsim Sha Tsui take guests to a wealth of tourist hotspots and entertainment options.
