TRAIL BLAZERS
These three airports lead the way in air-rail links across Europe
Amsterdam Schiphol Many trains (some regular, some by Thalys) run domestic and international services to Belgium and France. Some operate into Germany, but a change of train at Amsterdam Centraal (the city’s main station) may be needed.
Frankfurt Probably the best for both high-speed and regular trains. Huge choice of local S-Bahn, intercity, ICE and international services to Belgium, Holland, Austria and Switzerland.
Paris CDG The train station within T2 meets the needs of Air France and those airlines using this terminal. Besides the local trains heading downtown, there are direct TGVs to at least 14 domestic points, plus Brussels and Amsterdam (the latter from 2019).
