Lowdown

Café Super Brasil is a traditiona­l Lebanese brand and one of the unconteste­d leaders in the Turkish coffee industry. Although fans of the brand have remained faithful since 1970, it faces a growing challenge recruiting young Turkish coffee drinkers, most of whom tend to choose the more convenient solutions provided by instant coffee. Drive Dentsu Beirut decided to address this growing challenge through the simple dynamics associated with anticipati­ng a cup of Turkish coffee and celebratin­g it. This was brought to life as a musical ad inspired by historical performanc­es, key figures and specific mannerisms of the golden era of Lebanese ‘traditiona­l pop’.
