New top team at Impact BBDO as Paul Shearer becomes CCO

Impact BBDO Dubai has confirmed that Paul Shearer will be joining the agency as chief creative officer from February 1, 2018. Shearer, who was previously group chief creative officer at Memac Ogilvy, is recognised as one of the best creatives globally.

He will not only build on Impact BBDO’s creative reputation but will also partner with the agency’s clients to foster brand and business growth in this ever-changing industry landscape.

To partner with Shearer, Impact BBDO has looked internally with the promotion of Samantha StuartPalm­er to the position of managing director, Impact BBDO Dubai.

Stuart-Palmer, previously general manager, has spent the past six years at the agency leading some of the region’s largest accounts.

She will be stepping into the role previously held by Talal Sheikh Elard, who will take on a new UAE Group role as chief commercial officer. Both will report directly in to Dani Richa, group chairman and CEO.

Prior to spending the last three years in the region at Memac Ogilvy as group chief creative officer, Shearer worked at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Wieden + Kennedy, and was a founding Partner of Nitro. During his career, he has won 60 pencils at D&AD and more than 50 Cannes Lions, He has also featured amongst the top 10 chief creative officers globally.
