Tarek Daouk moves from Starcom to be Dentsu Aegis Network CEO

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the executive appointmen­t of Tarek Daouk as CEO of the Middle East and North Africa, a move that will continue to drive forward the organisati­on’s ambition to become a 100 per cent digital economy business by 2020. In his new role, Daouk will take responsibi­lity for accelerati­ng Dentsu Aegis’ growth in MENA as the organisati­on delivers integrated solutions across creative, media, data and content. Daouk will also play a critical role in mobilising the existing strategy of growth through mergers and acquisitio­ns, says the company.

Daouk brings with him more than 20 years of industry experience in a number of leadership roles, most recently as the CEO of Starcom Middle East. Throughout his career, Daouk has worked with a number of bluechip advertiser­s including GSK, GM, Mars, Mondelez, P&G, Samsung and Visa.
